How a Beverage Company Helps Humans that Struggle with Addiction
A couple weekend ago, my boyfriend and I took a weekend road trip up to Santa Cruz to help a friend move. Of course, what is a road trip without an abundance of snacks and bevvies to accompany the hours of oldies and true crime podcasts - so we piled up the cooler with watermelon, La Croix, Sunchips (sour cream and onion flavor, obvi), boiled eggs, and some Yerba Mate to try.
I was happy that Clean Cause sent over some Yerba Mates to test as they were the perfect caffeine boost full of clean and organic ingredients to get us through the 6+ hour drive up the coast. We tried the Blueberry and Peach flavor, and though I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Blueberry, I really enjoyed the peach, especially when I had it over lots of ice.
Not only is Clean Cause dedicated to creating uncomplicated beverages, they majorly focus on their mission of supporting addiction recovery by donating 50% of their net profits towards this cause. As a person who has a family member that struggles with addiction, this product means a lot to me.
They coined the term "CLEAN Kickstarts" to their recovery housing initiative and it is intended to bridge the critical gap between rehab & reintegration. Clean Cause believes this provides individuals early in their recovery the opportunity to establish a recovery routine & find employment, all in a safe, supportive & structured environment.
To find out more about how they give back you can visit their website for their non-profit, the Clean Cause Foundation.
